Is My laptop screen twisted?

I have a Sony Vaio FZ11S laptop and most of the time when I close the lid, the screen shuts fully on the left hand side (the feet on the screen touch the keyboarrd) but is still open slightly on the right hand side (the feet are a few millimetres away from the keyboard).

The screen works and doesn't look twisted or anything when open and when I close the lid while the computer is on, it still goes into sleep mode.

Has anyone any suggestions as to why it should do this?

I've got exactly the same problem on my FE31M.I think after reading your post that all Vaios with the single latch/lock closing system have the same issue.What can be done ?
Probably nothing.I still love my vaio all the same !
