Hi,

Does anybody know how to remove the keyboard of the Vaio VGN-CR19XN? I need to do some cleaning to the laptop, but I just can't figure out how to open it.

Walk through with illustrations would really be appreciated !

However the keyboard layout of the vaio CR29XN is not the same as the S150. I had a vaio B1XP which had the same keyboard layout as the S150 and I know how to open the keyboard of that type.

I did google for disassembly information of CR29XN but no luck. If anyone around here knows how, I'd love to have it shared

I've thought of calling technical support too but i'm away from home for quite a long time and there're no competent Sony Vaio support here 😞

Hi roselani,

I don't think there is a guide for the CR-Series - I have one for the C-Series which shows one screw to be removed from the bottom of the Vaio and four tabs to be released from the top of the keyboard.

I'm unsure if the CR-series is the same.

Sony are very unlikely to provide disassembly instructions.
