How to...configure the GigaPocket remote control

Hi,

Has anybody managed to work out how to configure the GigaPocket remote control and USBsircs.exe software to work with other applications (e.g. Windows MediaPlayer) and not just the default ones?

Any information on this poorly documented peripheral and software greatly welcomed.
