Ok here it goes: Does anybody know what do i need to reinstall so that the volume on the laptop(the buttons ) can work again !! ok new edit the buttons work but i have no visual efect of the volum on the screen!! how do i get it back?!
(i uninstalled some of the original sony vaio apps ) :smileygrin:

Hi Gagauza and welcome.

These functions are controlled by the Sony Utilities and I am not convinced they are all available for download. As you have found out it is dangerous to uninstall any Sony programs unless you know exactly what they do.

Try re-installing all the seven Utility Installers by following the instructions on Page 25 of your Recovery and Troubleshooting Guide - download here: -

If that is not possible, try downloading the Original Utilities Package for your model from here: -

Extract the files to a new folder and run the Setup.exe for each of the seven Utility Installers.
