Forgot to back up vista!!!

Hi guys, before i installed xp, i backed up the recovery discs for vista, problem is i didnt back up vista when it told me to.

I have decided to go back to vista but cant now. does anyone know what i can do to obtain a vista disc without forking out more money, i already paid for the VGN-11VN.

any help would be grateful.

Hi giselemuimui,

your Vaio has a hidden HDD recovery partition so as long as it has not been deleted you should be able to recover your Vaio back to the original installed OS and programs just as it was when you first used your Vaio.

To do this Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..

Have you created a set of recovery discs.
