Basically, you need a "extra" SIM card to use this feature, and you need to install this SIM card inside of your laptop. A subscriber identity module (SIM) on a removable SIM card securely stores the service-subscriber key (IMSI) used to identify a subscriber on mobile telephony devices (such as mobile phones and computers).
Normally, you need to subscribe a "Internet Service Plan" to receive this "extra" SIM card.
Only a feel companies, so called "operators" in each country are authorized to work with this specific service. In Germany, we have T Mobile and Vodafone. The contract is 02 years long and you will pay +- 30,00 euros each month. I use myself on the Sony VGN.P19VN.
