eject disk manually on vgclt2s

Please can anyone tell me if it is possible to eject discs manually from the optical drive of the the vgclt2s.
I have unsuccessfully tried all methods described in support paperwork to remove a stuck disk from my drive but can't find any mention of how to do this manually. Thanks.

Hi gill 37 and welcome to Club Vaio.

If you have tried all three methods then I would phone Sony support and see what they come up with. If it is a software issue they may recommend a full System Recovery.

1. Press the S3 button on the wireless keyboard
2. Press the disc eject button next to the drive slot
3. Go to Computer, right-click on the disc and choose Eject

I presume you mean a manual eject like the pin hole on drives with a disc tray? Some slot loading drives do have a pin hole in the DVD slot itself at one end but I have no idea if the Sony drive has this facility.
