DVD+-RW DW-D56A burn only with 2,4x

as u can see in my topic.. ive got a vgn-215M notebook with an Sony DW-D56A dvd burner... regular speed are dvd-+R 8x dvd-+rw 4x and DL 2,4x

but it makes only 2,4x with all dvd media... ive testet it with an dvd-r 8x and a dvd+r 8x... nero and other testtools say that it is only capable to burn at 2,4x...

so my question is... how can i fix that?... udma is active... and ist near the original installation.

How much RAM do you have?
Sometimes it lowers the speed to make sure it can burn successfully.

it comes with 512meg.

The 215m has an 1,6centrino... xp home (dma is enabled) and yes ive tested it with power suply.
