Hello again.
So, my dvd-rom is driving me crazy!!
On some DVD's it takes a bit of time to load, but it does eventually, and that does not bother me really.
Thing is, I got this pack of 50 LG dvd's (16x) and today I was trying to burn the first one.
First it also took some time to get recognized by windows (and nero) but then it loaded. I burned the DVD at 4x, it was successful, also data verification was sucessful. The disc ejected, then I inserted again, and it wouldn't load!
I've been trying for more than 3 hours, insert and reject and the thing goes crazy, the dvd rom gives me weird noises, the DVD just spins there and then 10 minutes later, it stops without loading the DVD.
The same thing happens with some other DVD's, but eventually it loads.
I tried cleaning the eye with special liquid, also cleaned the disc itself, but with no sucess.
Anyone has an idea?
I'm just hoping this wouldn't be a harware problem, cause I can't afford a new dvd rom right now.
PS; I have a VGN-FE31B.
