CPU Loop when connecting AC adaptor

I have recently bought on ebay a small VAIO VGN-TX3HP_W, it's very nice as expected, but i have a big problem, it works when stand alone, but it's CPU looping when i connect the AC adaptor, the mouse is then erratic and i just can open the task manager with Alt-Ctrl-Del to see it's looping.....

I think it's a problem of power management, but I dont' know how to resolve it.

Please help me..................

Hi vanbroo,

welcome to Club VAIO..

The thing with buying from bay is that don't know what's happened to the Vaio and whether the problem was there before purchase..

I would suggest first to run the Vaio recovery utility, you're Vaio has a hidden HDD recovery partition so as long as it has not been deleted you should be able to recover your Vaio back to the original installed OS and programs just as it was when you first used your Vaio.

To do this Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..
