I bought my VGN-FE11S in April 2006 and took part the voluntary battery replacement program in January 2007. This means my 5200mAh battery is about 18 months old now.
The battery only lasts around 40 minutes when watching a DVD or playing video from my HDD, which frustratingly isnt long enough for an epsiode!
I realise batteries deteriate in time, is this what is likely to be causing the short battery life? Or is it just that watching videos consume a lot of power? Is it worth me renewing my battery?
If so, there is no way Im spending £200+ on a genuine Sony 7200mAh battery. How about something like this from eBay?
