Firstly I bought a Sony Vaio fz11s from sony store and returned it twice due to dead pixels. When I got the third one windows didnt start properly and it restored itself to the default settings...factory settings. Now Norton update informs me of new updates that dont exist everytime I load wondows vista premium.
also I have not been able to use Vaio update becasue it says it cannot find system specifications when I click on the update.
When I go to the system information it tells me my Pc is 1.8Ghz Duo Core, T7100.... but when I check the hardware description from my computer properties, it says my chip set is T7300 at 2.0Ghz Duo Core.
Added to this the latest graphics chip by Nvidea 8400m GT does not have any proper drivers only running BETA at the moment. So my Vista Aero experience is only 4.0 index.
When I play an online Game of command and conquer Yuris revenge I can get online on their server, but I cant enter a game that is a custom match. It doesn't connect to the other players. Are there ports blocked or is it due to the faulty installation?
Also when Im playing some music from windows media player, at the end of selected songs an error with meia pipeline software tells me it has to close the program. Only on certain songs.. what is this?
Why does windows explorer suddenly stop working? Happened once...
Also, what are my rights as a consumer regarding these hardware errors which could not be found initially without registration or installation of the software?
