On most machines with the Intel i8xx and i9xx graphics chipsets, theres a BIOS option to change how much system RAM the video card "steals" on a cold boot. I use BeOS, which has no Intel i830 memory managment support, and hence I need to set the video card to "steal" at least 4MB of system RAM -I've got half a gig, so thats no problem.
However, the BIOS doesn't seem to have this option, and there appears to be no BIOS updates, which is very odd for a machine thats around two years old.
Is there an option or an update I've missed?
