Wi-Fi Connection set up problems

Can anyone help me get my new Bravia KDL-22EX320 wirelessly connected to my home network?

I've entered the router password

I've gone to the router and entered the tv as a trusted device and entered its MAC code in the router settings page.

The TV can find the router, it just won't connect.

Can it connect when there is no security on the network? Worth checking this out first and at the same time updating the firmware on the set too.

Thanks

I tried that suggestion, it didn't work. :slight_frown:

I am using an Apple iMac with a router, details as follows:

Router make and model

NETGEAR DG834N RangeMax NEXT Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router

· Type of security used WEP or WPA

WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]

· Wired (cable or Home Plug) or Wireless connection.

Wireless

· What actions have been carried out to help resolve the issue already

I have tried manual scan, the tv  recognises the router but even with everything done as I would expect it still won't allow the tv to connect.

Yesterday I was at our local Sony dealer who said to enter the WEP key into the tv during Newtwork set up when prompted. He said the WEP key would be 12 digits long and on the back of the router. On my router there are 2 12 digit codes, one described as Serial, the other as MAC. I have tried entering both of them but neither allows the tv access.

HELP!
