Freeview Play Issues

I have recently purchased a KX-49XE7002 Television. I have connected it to the internet and have downloaded all my channels.

When i want to access Freeview play, its states ''loading please wait''  Then nothing happens all the other apps work though at this time. i have looked at software update and it states the tv is fully updated at this time.

Could anybody please assist or advise

Hi Rsimpson1987, and welcome to the community.

Is the latest firmware update on your TV v8.500 (released on 20th November)?

The recommended way to ensure you received the above-mentioned firmware update is by making sure that the Automatic software download setting on your TV is ON. Your TV should then have received the update automatically.

If this latest firmware update is on your KX-49XE7002 already, it's best to contact Sony Support about this issue.
