Bravia Blu Ray

hi. I have a Bravia KDL40EX503. When playing blurays there are random audio dropouts which are cured by turning off hdmi deep colours on the bluray player. Has this problem been cured by updates ? I have not updated for over a year after reading of one bravia owner who updated and then the audio dropouts came every other second and were incurable by him.

Also, there is no multi screen function- does this require a new circuitboard or entire tv?It has a long guarantee.

Firmware updates are a pretty regular and in reality are part  and parcel of owning any piece of connected hardware these days. Worth remembering that the silent majority have no problems with firmware updates and its impossible to know what was wrong with that other users device. So I'd recommend getting it updated as it may well fix the dropout.

With regards to multi-screern, are you refereing to Picture in Picture, as thats already a feature I think?
