Hello Sony Support,
I've recently (a few hours ago) bought the Sony Xperia Tipo mobile phone, and set it up entirely to my likings.
After a few minutes, a notification popped up saying that there is a new version available: 11.0.A.4.22.
After I saw that notification, I hooked my phone up to my PC, updated the phone, and booted it up as I was told by the PC program.
The issue I'm having now is that although I have updated my phone, the message tells me that there's an update for the exact same version.
As I have 'Automatically install updates when connected to Wi-Fi' turned ON, the phone starts to 'update', although it needs to be connected to the PC in order to do that, but when I connect my phone to the PC and run the correct program (Sone PC Companion), it states that there's no software update available.
Is there any way to remove the notification from my notification bar and/or fix this issue temporarily?
Sincerely,
Senex.

This suggestion actually did fix the issue, and the notification is now gone.
Thanks a lot!
