Too many pattern attempts

I lost my pattern and now it says "Too many pattern attempts". When I to get it through email id it does accept. Please help

I suggest using the Update Service to remove the pattern lock from the handset. Please be aware that this will remove all data from the handsets memory but will not touch a SIM card or memory stick.
