Phone update

I have tried many times to update my phone X10 to the latest version but seems cannot. Everytime when i off my phone for 5 second then on again (follow the instruction), it is no response. I have post out my problem to the sony centre and ask me to do it again but seen useless. How to fix it?

One more problem is when i want to download some app from android market, it also show download paused. Why?

use SUS and turn off your firwall and antivirus

make sure to press and hold the back button before you connect the USB cable
