Phone working fine. I can make and receive calls, texts, make photos, internet, etc, but no light into display and keys. I can see on display, but only into some angles, especially in sun . My phone has no guarantee, so i can't send it to sony service. I even updated the software, but no luck Can anyone of you give me the schematic or backlight solution? Thanks!

do you see any rust on them? disconnect and reconnect them, if you have an air can use it to clean the board and connectors.

Anytime, it might take him a while but he is great, you can forward the email to Johan, Jeff, Samuel and other Sony Moderators. once you get an answer please do post it here, I'm intrigued

If you have no luck with replies then there are long and tedius ways to fault find broken fuses

1 is and I use this method on Laptop motherboards is to use a multimeter and place the prongs on each end of the fuses at the top as this is metal if you get no current going through then mark it with a pen and keep testing all the others

2 and I do use this method but not often and thats to temp jump the fuse by using is my case a small safety pin and place it across the top of the fuse as mentioned above the tops of the fuses are metal

(Only the ends are metal not the middle part)

If you do find the fuse you could buy a new one from the well known auction site or soldier a bit of safety pin across the top to jump the fuse then cut off any excess but be careful with the soldering part

I tried to check all the fuses, but some of them are protected by a resin coat. So... let me know, please what is the exactly component. Thanks!

I can only give advice on methods to use when fault finding based on my expertise when fixing laptop motherboards

Sorry to hear about the problem with your phone.

I'm afraid we don't have any repair diagrams/instructions to offer. I can only recommend that you contact a service location to have the phone investigated and repaired.
