Increase RAM

Hi all!

There is a software that allows you to increase the RAM? (hypothesis using a portion of that of the phone)  I have problems, even for google updates or scan with avast antivirus.

do NOT use any of the following apps

taskillers

task managers

antivirus

RAM apps

Battery apps

Booster apps

this will drain your battery, sometimes slow down your phone, connectivity issues, make android unstable, crash other apps, you do NOT need this apps, Android will free up RAM as it need it.

if there are apps that you don't use, uninstall them, if they were preinstalled then settings > apps > all > look for the apps  disable them.

Thanks for the advice. The only app that I kept is avast antivirus. I have already seen significant improvements. thank you all!

you don't need an antivirus at all. also if you have a LOT of sms/mms and/or call logs it will slow down your phone, why do you want an antivirus? there aren't virus on android?

I agree, I have never received virus with android. I have avast with license because it has convenient features (I also have avast on two PCs for work). The ones that I use are: filter / block SMS and calls, Anti-Theft, and others. Are already included in the package and in the license. In particular, the filter / block calls works fine, allows me to create sophisticated rules.

Just 1 question regarding this app - what happens when after theft the phone is formatted... would my xperia would still work based on IMEI ... if it works only on google then formatting would not help much in tracking the phone..
