Help me downgrade to ICS.

I updated my xperia p to jelly bean recently and it lags miserably. Especially whatsapp, call logs and text messaging. Please guide me to downgrade it ICS( works smooth ) , or suggest any alternative to run my xperia smoothly on JELLY BEAN.

Uninstalled all the unecessary default applications and anti-virus. still lags a lot. Does a factory reset using SUS help? Do I need to erase my internal storage too?

if you already deleted all your sms, mms, call logs > repaired your phone with SUS > and the phone still lags then you could use another launcher, phone and messaging apps.

you have 2 options to downgrade

1) take your phone to a Sony repair center

or

2) use flashtool

@uliwooly: Sony service centre cant help in this. Already tried they said they cant downgrade it ICS once updated to JB. I din try repairing by SUS. Do i need to erase my internal storage also?

From sony's webpage: "Our commitment to offering you the best, means that once upgraded you will not be able to revert back to an older version of Android."

Repaired via SUS problem persists.

that's odd, not all repair centers offer this, its not that complicated to downgrade, there's always flashtool
