Cheating by Sony with 2011 Xperia Devices users??

Last year Sony announced that 2011 xperia devices wont be upgraded to new JB just because the device hardware does not support JB OS.

Recently Sony released new Xperia E with 4.1 JB system.

Now I have Xperia Ray 2011 model and when I checked Xperia E hardware, I was shocked.

Here is the hardware comparison:

Xperia Ray

• Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon 1 Ghz scorpion processor can be overclocked to 1.4GHz
• Adreno 205 GPU
• Internal memory 1 GB (300 MB user available), 512 MB RAM

Xperia E

• Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon 1 GHz Cortex-A5 no overclocking
• Adreno 200 GPU
• Internal memory 4 GB (2 GB user available), 512 MB RAM

I guess, just because of the low internal memory, Ray is not getting JB update.

This is discrimination and injustice

Hey, All the people asking for JB from SONY. I also was here a long time ago but not now. I void all by rooting & Unlocking BL. Then...

Now I'm XPERIAncing JB on my ray.

Yes it is a custom ROM(CM10).

I know, sony lovers always loves the Timescape UI but not for any AOSP/AOKP or anything..

Then I have a solution..

I know there are custom roms available with JB for ray but why cant sony developers provide it?

I will give it a try once my phone is out of 24 month warranty period.
