Does someone have the camera issue? On 8MP auto, when you want to snap something in the dark with flash, sometimes a half of picture is black. It looks like saving picture is not synchronized with flash snap or some light messurement problem i don't know. I've checked all kind of variation in options - still no result. On 6MP everything works fine.

Ofcouse we speak about everything stock, locked bl.

I have the same problem with this update. I repair my phone yesterday, and when i check the camera first time it was fine an i was excited about this. But today i am having the same Bug. So repair did not fix the issue. Its really bad to loss your all contents and settings while repairing and ending with the same black camera images.. Christmis is coming and Sony make me upset because i have to get some pictures but unfortunately.... Is there any way to degrade Update. Or i can download the previous software from website and Install... I must say Poor customer service by Sony..

I suggest that please send us updates of previous Version of Software..Mean while you people check this issue. As i think you people just add a SONY logo in startup in this stupid update and results in camera Bug.. We don't need Sony logo we want to fix our Camera. Pls send us previous version

Same issue here. I am from the philippines. My camera is not working. Fine aftet the update. I am so.pissed off. I regret it that I updated my xperia p. Sony!!! Fix this ASAP!!!!!!!!

im experiencing the same problem im from philippines the 6mp improves in a way that it has better quality(i notice it as i compare my previoius shot of 6mp to the one after the update) but the problem is the 8mp i was expecting that it will give me a lesser noise night photos but it turned out to have a black thing covered almost half of the landscape mode of my 8mp please sony make an early update for this for i badly need a handy camphone for the upcoming holiday season... im very dissapointed in this update! :smileysad::smileysad:

here are my pics after update it seems the cam work at when the flash is off and flash on but about 5-6 ft far from the object here are my pics after the update

I still find the Instagram bug more annoying, becouse you can still take 6MP pictures with the camera , witch is still good enough, but Instagram is quite useless without its own viewfinder...
