Xperia M can't send SMS

Are you able to receive SMS? if so you could try simply putting a friend or family members SIM card in the phone and sending a message, then remove it and place your SIM back in the device.

In most cases this will solve a SMS issue.

Call your mobile service provider and ask for the SMS  centre number.

Once you get it, do the following

1) in your dialer, enter *#*#4636#*#*

2) select phone information

3) scroll down to the end. You will find SMSC.

4) enter the SMS centre number there and press update.

Please try to add country code number before the mobile number to be texed.

Example: In case of Nepal, following procedure worked:

+97738484

+977 is country code

38484 is number to be texed.

This worked me.
