Wrong Battery level reading?

Hey Guys 

I need your help. 

When I'm charging my XPERIA M5, the battery level got stuck at level 83%.

The voltage is at max but the battery level stays at 83%

Maybe it's a software failure 

Can somebody tell me how to solve the  problem??

does this happen when you are on safe mode?

a battery saving feature called charging optimisation is limiting the charge, try to see if this is active at settings>about phone

try to recalibrate your battery by draining it to 10% then charge with wallmount chrager
