I have a Sony Xperia M2 Aqua that is only about 8 months old.

My phone refuses to charge.

I have bought new chargers and cables. My phone refuses to charge through a wall charger, and will only charge through my laptop. When I plug my phone in, it constantly shows that its charging and then not charging.

The red charge notification light on my phone also doesnt turn off or change colour. Even after I have unplugged my phone.

Where can I take my phone for repairs? I live in pretoria, south africa and cant find someone able to repair my phone.

I also cant get hold of a Sony Xperia support team.

Hi @Aimee92,

I'm sorry to hear that. I would recommend that you try and force restart your device. You can do that by opening the cover for the SIM-card and pressing the dedicated off button there for at least 10 seconds ( See image bellow).

If the phone still doesn't charge I'd recommend that you get in contact with your Local support for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center.
