I have registered my ereader prs650, now how do I access the free classic books

Hi acreader,

Have you downloaded the free books from the Sony site.:smileyconfused:

If not log-in to your MySony account, use this link: My Sony

Once logged in click on My Products..

Then next to your Reader PRS-650 click on Product Details & Extras..

Then click on Get 100 Classic books for free..

Then click on the file of books you want to download  and select Save file..

Once the download completes..

Locate the Zip file that you just downloaded to your computer..
Right-click on the file and choose extract..
Open eBook Library, go to the File menu and choose the Import Files option..
Find the files that you have just extracted, select them and click Open..

If you have already downloaded the books to your PC you may have to complete some of the points above depending on how far you have progressed..

To transfere the free books to your reader -

Connect your reader to your PC via USB..

In the Reader Library click on Click Library at the top of the left-hand menu (you should see the free ebooks listed)

Click on the eBook that you wish to transfer and drag-and-drop it to Reader further down the lefthand
menu. (see image below)

Your books should now load onto your Reader.

Dear acreader,  I think you already have an answer to your question, but if you care to contact me I will supply you with information about downloading ebooks from other sites.....many of the books are free!

I have a new Sony reader prs650 and now have a couple of hundred books in epub format and the cost was '0'.......  contact me..
