Hi, new here. I use a couple of cx240’s for vlogging. To my surprise, when shooting using the maximum 1080p HD resolution, my iPad Pro editing software saves the finished project as a 4K file.
However I found the other night after shooting in low light that the finished files were reduced to 720p files.
Is this normal? Anyone any idea why, or if there’s a setting I’m missing in camera?
All in all, great little camera, pretty cheap, gets the job done. Audio could be better so probably going to record audio separately and sync.
Thank you
Hello @Plusphotography1964,
you have to record in AVCHD to be able to use 1920x1080 resolution.
In MP4 you only have 720p.

Thanks Nic. I have both cameras set to that.
