The version of my PC is MacBook Air Mojave 10.14.3 with iMovie 10.1.11

I'm now wanting to get a SONY HANDYCAM DCR-TRV10E CAMCORDER MINI DV DIGITAL TAPE VIDEO CAMERA. However, I'm afraid it won't work on a MacBook.
