The starting point for any enquiry is the full model number of your TV. The software/firmware version also helps.

I have the same problem occurring just this last hour. KD-43XE8099. I tried forcing shutdown of the app and clearing data, but that did not help.

My parents are also seeing this issue on their TV, which they predominately use for Youtube. I hope this gets sorted asap.
FYI: I done a factory reset and the issue is still there.
Model: KD-55X7052

I think it is something wrong with youtubes service, according to downdetector a lot of people have issued problem with their service. I will wait until tomorrow and see if it works then.
I updated the firmware on my TV and reinstalled the app two times, cleared cache, rebooted the tv etc.. No success there. So, as i mentioned, i think the problem is at youtube itself.
