Have Just bought and setup the above tv in uk and have a few questions which I hope someone can explain
1. where is the mains switch ?
2. Have digital and satellite TV signal inputs, unit always comes on in Freesat, how can I change default to digital.?
3. How can I play catchup programs from Freeview guide
Help would be greatly appreciated
Hey, the TV doesn't have a mains switch, it has an ON/OFF button. You can switch between digital and Freesat by using the guide button on the remote control, when you click on it, you'll be able to see the different options for either Freesat or digital.
There is a catchup section inside the guide when you click on the guide button, also you can use the built in catchup applications on your TV. I hope this helps.
Mine doesn’t have the catch up unless you get rid of you view useless you view why the hell Sony went for a system that’s not usable is beyond me … that said disable you view slip in a usb hard drive and you should be able to pause and record … this is Sony though so I suspect it doesn’t work or they are about to make it work
Did you get sufficient information?
Read the manual to better explore the possibilities of your TV set.

@Captain_paranoia Sony removed the dependency of YouView to get the iPlayers etc. on new TVs a couple of years ago. If @NMet41 wants to launch catch-up players from the TV guide then they need to use Live TV & Catch-up.
@NMet41 It should be simple to change your power on behaviour to your chosen input by setting the Power On Behaviour. Press the cog wheel on your remote and select Power On Behaviour. If it is missing then you need to add it by going to Edit on the far right.
Hi @NMet41
Apologies for several edits, I made the mistake of replying from an Android Tablet. I had to move to a Windows PC to make any sense of my post.
