Hi,
Not sure if anyone else has the same setup, but I think there is a bug in the new android software. I have a 55XH9005 mated to a sony HT-G700. Updated the TV to the latest software, hence the new eARC feature is available to be enabled. Works absolutely fine, however, if I enable eARC, I get random sound drops from the soundbar. I will lose sound and the sound bar displays LPCM, and will then recover after about 40 second to a minute. If i do not enable eARC, it works fine and I dont get any sound drops. Anyone else experienced this? Is there an issue with the new software?
Thanks

Hi jutler123,
I've seen this mentioned on other threads and it seems that one of the popular solutions is to remove the TuneIn app from your TV.
Do let us know if this solves it for you.

Hi J.D
Thanks for your suggestion, however I don't have the TuneIn app installed on my TV 😞
Try clearing the cached data (under Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data) then hold the power button for ~5 sec to restart it.
I have the HT G700 soundbar since November 2022.
When I connect my XBox Series X to my TV and TV to the HT G700
Every few minutes the sound drops out.with music apps (not movies)
I also use a PS5,
My TV is a LG 8K Nanocell.
I'm not a wizard at technology.
Plus with my Xbox /X The video setting ticks keep getting screwed up like 4K 60/120 HZ,
working one time and not at another.
I was thinking of trying to update the soundbar.
my version is something like 211111.
I am at a loose end.
