I brought up the issue of vertical banding on this set which arose less than 6 months after purchasing it. Today I am glad to have received my replacement set from Sony.
I was surprised that I would encounter a fault like this on a relatively new set but that's down to bad luck I suppose.
Fingers crossed with the replacement set as I am highly impressed with the picture quality on this model.

Indeed the picture quality of the OLED TVs are the best! If I were you I'd check also about the warranty period and see if the TV has an extended warranty on it just in case. Best of luck.
