Poor Customer Service
Has anyone had any problems with Sony poor customer service. I bought a Sony KD-55AF9 television as I have always liked a decent TV. This is not a cheap TV cost over £3000 and was originally pleased with the quality. After about 8 month I started to see screen burn on the bottom of the screen not sure why as I dont pause the TV for any length of time. Looking closer it was the SKY News logo and banner burnt into the bottom of the screen. After this I lost my vision and through covid was back and forward to hospital and I'm awaiting further surgery now. When my vision got a bit better I tried the screen refresh (doesnt work) and contacted Sony and tried their trouble shooting. I have now been told because it is over 12 month I have to pay for a repair on this £3000 tv??? I have never had this on any other TV I have had and after this episode will never purchase another Sony product.

That's an unfortunate situation indeed and I'm sorry to hear that you had so much trouble.
However, please understand that the support team has it's guidelines.
I would recommend to get in touch with them again and ask for goodwill.
