Not all Sony TVs support all Sony - or other -Bluetooth headphones.
Model numbers would help, but you can probably check for yourself here:-

If no go, then hang a £25 Amazon Bluetooth transmitter off your optical out, ignoring any Sony FUD about them ‘not guaranteeing’ that will work - how could they, but if it didn’t, Amazon returns are simple and quick, and the next transmitter down the page will probably be OK - and sync your headphones to that.
