You still can see files on external hdd or flash drive organized in folders...
After you enter video app just hit left on the remote to enter in side menu...there you can see your folders and all...

Plain DTS tracks appear to be fixed (using the built-in Videos app). DTS-HD MA tracks play for a few seconds (via DTS fallback) but then go silent. At least it doesn't hang like before and the video continues playing so you can switch to another track.
YouTube HDR is the same as before -- it still doesn't automatically change the Brightness, XDR, etc. settings.
Good news finally, are European users getting the push adverts from Google with Oreo now also? Really don't agree with screen space in the menu's being used for advertisement when I paid so much for a TV.
I have installed the Oreo update in february. Luckily, I'm not affected by the sound problems.
Yes, there is an advert part on the home screen, but don't worry, the new home screen is completely useless, I think.
You will rarely use the home screen, so, you will rarely see these adverts.
These ads are not so intrusive.
It looks like this, a band called "sponsored content" on the home screen.

The problem is with this new home screen, that the content it displays, is too small.
For example, my Youtube subscriptions shows only 6 videos...
The TV band shows some TV channels, in a random order, I cannot imagine, how to set any order, or how to use it to show favorite channels, etc...
wow nice dude!thanks
Maybe the most unstable part of this system is the handling of the playback of the recorded TV programs.
I did not made exact statistics, but as I remember, since I have the Oreo update, I had to restart my TV some times, once or twice while Youtube playback stopped working.
But more often, when I record something from a TV channel (for example this morning), and I want to play it back, the playback stucks more often than any other part of the TV.
starting, 100% please wait, ...
and I stays on screen for minutes. Does not responds to the remote controller, even when I try to long press the power button on the back of the TV.
I have to pull it out from the power, wait some minutes, and plug it back again...
