A disapointment to buy a 2020 XH brand new TV boxed that dies in 6 hours after a firmware update
Due to Covid, I purchased a KD-49XH8196 yesterday brand new in the box from Marketplace on FB. It worked fine for 6 hours. after a firmware update it stopped working and is red blinking 6 times. unable to get it up and running since. further disappointment reaching out to Sony to realise it needs to be replaced. I owned an OLED AF8 for years spot on no issues. I go for this 2020 brand new model and issues surface day 1 and with hassle for replacement.
Most retail stores offer a "Dead on Arrival" replacement/refund, though I have no idea about Marketplace (since I don't like or use FB personally), could save you some time and headache if that's possible.
