which wireless remote

Hi all,

I have a Sony A57, I currently building up my essential bits of kit and one thing I need is a wireless shutter remote I found a couple online can anyone say if they tired them at all or recommend any?

Im also looking at a 35mm fixed lens (below) any thoughts on it as i want it for travelling so im not carrying alot plus to try Bokeh Art.

The RMT-DSLR1 is fully compatible.

However with the new RMT-DSLR2 you can also start/stop the movie recording, whichis not possible with the version 1.

The SAL35mmF1.8 is very good and a perfectmatch for the A57. You can read a lot of reviews on the following site:

thanks for the reply, the RMT-DSLR2 really does tick the box but the price seems a bit steap, do you know of any cheaper ones? have you heard about the two i posted above?

Also i'm def looking at the SAL35mmF1.8 the link you posted was great, is there any similar lens with F1.8 about 35mm or below for a good price I've been looking and cant see.

One last thing does the Minolta lens just fint on any Alpha DSLR? and does it only allow manual or auto focus?
