As a one and done lens for run and gun at night in the big city in the A7iii, I'm wondering if sacrificing 30mm length for the faster lens and making up for it with crop mode to get tighteshowbox r zoomed shots is the way to go, or better to sacrifice the full stop in aperture for the extra 30 mm and hoping a7iii camera settings can solve low light issues.. I really want to achieve the compressed look speed test of zooming in on far away subjects in tight streets at night, which will be likely decently lit. For hobby, not any professional printing.
I don't see many people using the 24-105 for night street photography so I can't find many good relevant examples, but everyone seems to agree the a7iii can handle high iso no problem. And not many examples of using crop mode on the sigma 2470 out there, so curious if anyone can share examples or experiences
Thank you!
