All in one VPCJ12LOE, need a bit more than the three Gb installed, yes I know; I thought it had four. Using Pinnacle 16 Aultimate and seems a bit slow so thought i would put more ram in. Just want advice on how to install extra ram, I don't want to go opening panels if they are the wrong one. I can see a small panel on the back that unscrews and assume that is where the Ram is. Hello,

You computer model is VPCJ12L0E (its zero"0" not alphabet "O")

And you can upgrade the RAM to max 8 GB.

Compatible RAM specs would be:

PC3-8500

DDR3 SDRAM

Memory speed: 1066 MHz

Just like to say thank you for your reply, silly I know because all I had to do was google it, senior moment. It is good to get confirmation anyway. I hope it makes the difference i hope for.
