Windows Vista Upgrade

Hi..

If i upgrade to vista from XP, will i be able to use the Sony "applications recorvery" disc to use all the bundle software with my vaio?

And finally, if for some reason i need XP back... Will the System recovery disc restore xp?

No I don't think your Application disc, will not work on Vista..

You should, providing your recovery partition is still intact after installing vista, be able to press F10 when booting your vaio to start the recovery process..

The recovery disc's may not work as they may not recognise your Vaio once Vista is installed..

Have you thought of making an image of your hard drive with something like Acronis True Image..?

You would have thought Sony would have made new recovery DVDs for those who bought a PC between 25 Oct and end of March 2007 wouldn't you?
