Hi, I had a similar problem with a SanDisk Extreme III 2GB SD card. Unfortunately, I probably wont be a lot of use. If I remember rightly it just sort of corrected itself - I think I tried connecting the camera up with the SD card in it and a verity of other cards. After trying all this, the next time I inserted it, it came up with a 'finding drivers for new..etc'.
I cant remember if I installed anything with the disk that came with it, while I was trying to fix it though (think the Extreme III comes with drivers on a cd)

Sorry Im not very much help, hope you get it fixed.

My VGN-AR21M running XP suddenly stopped reading my 1GB SD card (cannot be detected by Explorer and Explorer just hangs up). The integrated SD card reader can still read a 32MB SD card. The 1GB SD card works fine in my camera (and can also be read by the pc when connected via a USB cable) and can also be formatted using a different pc.

Can anyone help here?
