POP UP MADNESS

Altough I have completed the registration of my laptop, and that I have also completed the feedback survey every day I get a pop up asking me to do it?! Does anyone know how to turn off these as im going nuts!

Hi skipped and welcome to Club Vaio.

Have a look in 'Scheduled Tasks' and disable any reference to "MCVSurvey" and "MCVLaunch".

If you can't find these Tasks or they are not there, you will have to remove the references from the Registry.

Start -> type in REGEDIT in the search and open it.

Navigate to the two following Registry Keys and delete all entries for MCVSurvey and MCVLaunch: -

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tasks

and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree
