[VGN-C1Z/B] Memory Upgrade Options

Hi, I'm planning to upgrade the 1GB memory in my laptop to its full 2GB.

But what are my options? Like will it support any speed higher than "DDR2-533/PC2-4200"?

Any recommendations?

Hi Channi3,

Your C1Z will support up to DDR2 PC2-5300 DDR2-667MHz.

You have two slots and two 512MB memory sticks installed - so you will need to replace both of them and buy 2 X 1024MB modules.

Many members here buy memory from Crucial.com because they guarantee compatibility and come highly recommended by lots of us who have had no problems.

Hi, I've ordered the memory, but there is one thing on my mind and thats when i looked back at the link, its says memory upgrades for VGN-C1"S".

Is C1S the same to C1Z? Just a lil confused. :S

They both use the same memory - you will be OK.
