VGN AR21S High pitch CPU noise

Hello friends,

I need some help on how to get rid of a high pitch noise I get from my Laptop CPU.
I have tried utilities such as RMclock but with no luck.

I am told it is to do with the CPU power states e.t.c and some say to edit the BIOS e.t.c but with no clear instructions.

Can anyone help please?

hi man,

maybe u're using the wrong energy modi. well, another possibility is, that ur cpu fan is damaged. u also should take a look at ur running processes, maybe u've got 100% cpu power in use and thats y ur cpu fan is so noisy

Hi buddy, thanks for the reply.

However it's not the fan at all it's an electronic high pitch signal noise.

I've tried to look it up on the net but with no definite idea on how to resolve it.

Need help!!!

P.S whats anenergy modi? Thanks.
