VAIO logo light always on

Hi,

On my AR21s (with Vista), the VAIO logo light is always on. I have tried to disable it in the VAIO control center, but it is still on ! Does someone have an idea ?

Hi budgetmil,

As your model was pre-installed with Windows XP Media Centre Edition I assume that you have either upgraded to, or fresh installed a copy of Vista?

Have you downloaded and installed all of the Vista compatible Drivers and Utilities from here ?

Hi,

Yes, I upgraded with the Vista upgrade DVD provided by Sony. And I also installed all the updates available on this site...

compleltly remove set utillis services and vaio control center
(Sony Utils DLL and also Sony Shared Library)and then try to install them again
Note: you must first install "Sony Utils Utility", followed by "Sony Shared Library" and then install any remaining utilities.

Thanks for your help, but it still doesn't work... Anyway, it is not really important so I will keep the logo on...
