hi everyone,

hi could anyone help me PLEASE with my vaio fz21s, i've got it 4/12 ago and everything seems ok. just recently, my audio seems not working, having said that, everything still working great. it's quite annoying though, i can't enjoy my music, movie, etc. there's no sounds at all, it says, 'No Audio Output Device is installed'. many thanks indeed.

Hi,

Have you downloaded and installed the new SigmaTel Audio Driver 6.10.5614.0 from here?

If that doesn't work, try this: -

Download and Install Microsoft Hotfix KB929685 first. Download here: -

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=8a034007-13af-447f-b37e-87c3c7336332&displaylang=en

Start->Control Panel->Programs and Features.
Right click on SigmaTel and uninstall.
Reboot your Vaio to reinstall the drivers.
