Skype problem

Looking for help with skype on my PCG-FR415M

every time I make or receive a call, the system hangs, needs a reboot.
I have checked the settings and they are ok. No conflicts show on the system and I have the latest version of all my drivers and skype. Any help appreciated

Could you check if the videocamera drivers are correctly installed, because this is the main cause of conflict with Skype.

Take a look in the device manager.

It seems there are a few people experiencing similar problems.
I assume you have uninstalled / reinstalled skype or even gone to an older version?

I haven't found any definate fixes as the skype support apparently just tell people to reinstall etc.

Edit: People running p2p software have also had problems with system freezes.

All drivers are correctly installed, Skype hangs the system wether i'm using the video or just a voice call. Camera and voice work in yahoo and MSN, only skype has the problem, and I have installed and re-installed this several times.
