    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 3; "&gt;Vaio Cracked Screen Problems&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I put my Vaio on the table at 11.30pm lat night and this morning at 7.30am the screen had cracked!!! &lt;BR /&gt;I contacted Sony and was informed in no certain terms that I must have dropped it or banged it and it would cost....wait for it £697.50 to replace it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!&lt;BR /&gt;I have checked various consumer sites and this seems to be a persistant problem on the Sony Vaio and I would like to hear from people who have had the same problems and have been trated the same shabby way by the service department?  &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.it/html/@8A5BDCECEE2E5AB683F2BDAA500F2036/images/smilies/035.png" alt=":slight_frown:" title=":slight_frown:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
